Which wheelsets does Carl'Z offer?
Carl'Z offers ready-built wheelsets for Gravel, Endurance, Road and MTB. Each lineup is designed for the specific demands of its discipline - from long climbs to demanding terrain.
What does Tubeless Ready mean?
Tubeless Ready means the rim is designed to work both with a traditional inner tube and without one (tubeless). In the tubeless setup, a special sealant is used inside the tyre instead, which seals small punctures on its own - improving flat protection and allowing lower tyre pressures for more comfort and grip without increasing the risk of pinch flats.
Are your rims hooked or hookless?
It depends on the product line. Our Gravel, Endurance and Road rims use a hooked design, allowing a wider tyre selection and greater tolerance to pressure variations. Our MTB rims are hookless, providing a continuous rim profile that supports modern wide tyres at low air pressures. Each product page states the rim type clearly.
How do I maintain my Carl'Z wheelset?
Regular cleaning, checking spoke tension and servicing the hub bearings - that is all it takes. Wheelsets that are properly maintained will last for years.
