XC-Master

The XC-Master rim is a complete new development. Together with our partners we searched for a profile that can withstand the high loads of XC World Cup racing. The Z30G-Ultra 333 was the pioneer here. We further optimised this profile and gave it a 4mm wide hook. The special design reduces pinch flats and absorbs every single impact. Impacts that do get through hit a rim hook that is significantly more massive than its predecessor's.


The carbon rim weighs 345g with a 30mm inner width and a 38mm outer width. The rim height is 23mm.

We build the rear right side with the 1.6mm Comp Race and the opposite side with the 1.5mm Revolution spokes from DT Swiss. The front left uses Comp Race and the front right uses Revolution. This means we use Comp Race on the sides with higher load - which handles drivetrain forces well - and on the front for handling braking forces.
