MTB Lineup
Our MTB wheelsets are designed for specific riding disciplines, from lightweight Cross Country racing to Trail and Enduro. Each model follows its own design approach, with differences in rim construction, profile geometry, wall thickness and spoke specification to suit its intended application.
The SMCi30 Ultra 285 is developed with a clear focus on low rim weight for Cross Country use. The XC-Master introduces a completely new rim profile with a 4 mm rim hook, developed to withstand the demands of modern XC racing. Building on the same platform, the EN-Boss features additional reinforcement for increased impact resistance in Trail and Enduro riding.
XC Master
The XC-Master rim is a complete new development. Together with our partners we searched for a profile that can withstand the high loads of XC World Cup racing. The Z30G-Ultra 333 was the pioneer here. We further optimised this profile and gave it a 4mm wide hook. The special design reduces pinch flats and absorbs every single impact. Impacts that do get through hit a rim hook that is significantly more massive than its predecessor's.
Installed spokes are the DT Swiss Comp Race/DT Swiss Revolution.
EN-Boss
Boss the trails you're up for. The EN-Boss rim is a complete new development. Building on the new XC-Master (same shape and finish), we significantly reinforced our new enduro rim to 380g. The new 4mm wide rim hook reduces pinch flats and absorbs every single impact. Impacts that do get through hit a rim hook that is significantly more massive than its predecessor's.
Installed Spokes are the DT Swiss Comp Race/DT Swiss Revolution.

SMCi30 Ultra 285
Our SMCi30 Ultra rim weighs a sensational 285g with a 30mm inner width. Development took two years. Among other things, the spoke holes were reinforced using a special manufacturing process. This x-shape reinforcement results in 15% higher strength values at a lower weight.
The rim profile is slightly asymmetric, enabling an even more harmonious build. Our manufacturer is one of the most experienced rim manufacturers in the Far East with consistently high production quality. The rims are inspected and tested according to European standards.
The SMCi30 Ultra is suitable for riders up to 105kg body weight for XC and AM.
Every wheelset is hand-built in Germany. Homogeneous spoke tension ensures a long spoke life even under the toughest use.
The non "Plus" designation identifies wheelsets equipped with DT Swiss Comp Race/DT Swiss Revolution spokes.
Available with Pillar Wing 20 Spokes
