Components
The XC-Master rim is a complete new development. Together with our partners we searched for a profile that can withstand the high loads of XC World Cup racing. The Z30G-Ultra 333 was the pioneer here. We further optimised this profile and gave it a 4mm wide hook. The special design reduces pinch flats and absorbs every single impact. Impacts that do get through hit a rim hook that is significantly more massive than its predecessor's.
The carbon rim weighs 345g with a 30mm inner width and a 38mm outer width. The rim height is 23mm.
We build the rear right side with the 1.6mm Comp Race and the opposite side with the 1.5mm Revolution. The front left uses Comp Race and the front right uses Revolution. This means we use Comp Race on the sides with higher load - which handles drivetrain forces well - and on the front for handling braking forces.
Every wheelset is hand-built in Germany. Homogeneous spoke tension ensures a long spoke life even under the toughest use. We offer a crash replacement for this wheelset: we replace a damaged rim for the original buyer for €200 including VAT, including rebuild with new spokes and nipples.
DT Swiss 240
The DT Swiss 240 combines low weight with high reliability and easy maintenance. The Ratchet EXP 36 freehub system ensures direct power transfer and high durability thanks to its reduced number of components. The tool-free design allows easy maintenance and conversion to different freehub standards.
DT Competition Race
The DT Competition Race is a butted round spoke with a particularly thin mid-section for weight reduction. Despite its low weight, it offers high stability and is suitable for lightweight, durable wheels. Weight: 313g (64 spokes, 264mm).
DT Revolution
The DT Revolution is the lightest round spoke in the DT Swiss range. The mid-section, butted down to 1.5mm, reduces weight while maintaining high strength, making it suitable for a wide range of wheel concepts. Weight: from 283g (64 spokes, 264mm).
Hookless
The hookless rim design provides a continuous rim profile without a hook. Combined with compatible tubeless tyres, this rim supports the use of modern tyres and tyre widths at low air pressures.
