Components
Our SMCi30 Ultra rim weighs a sensational 285g with a 30mm inner width. Development took two years. Among other things, the spoke holes were reinforced using a special manufacturing process. This x-shape reinforcement results in 15% higher strength values at a lower weight.
The rim profile is slightly asymmetric, enabling an even more harmonious build. Our manufacturer is one of the most experienced rim manufacturers in the Far East with consistently high production quality. The rims are inspected and tested according to European standards.
The SMCi30 Ultra is suitable for riders up to 105kg body weight for XC and AM.
Every wheelset is hand-built in Germany. Homogeneous spoke tension ensures a long spoke life even under the toughest use. We offer a crash replacement for this wheelset: we replace a damaged rim for the original buyer for €300 including VAT, including rebuild with new spokes and nipples.
Newmen Fade MTB
The Newmen FADE MTB hub features a large-diameter FADE freehub system with three pawls. The large freehub diameter reduces the load on individual components, while the optimised tooth profile reduces freehub noise. The wide design of the pawls supports even power transfer. Reinforced material areas at highly stressed points increase robustness.
DT Competition Race
The DT Competition Race is a butted round spoke with a particularly thin mid-section for weight reduction. Despite its low weight, it offers high stability and is suitable for lightweight, durable wheels. Weight: 313g (64 spokes, 264mm).
DT Revolution
The DT Revolution is the lightest round spoke in the DT Swiss range. The mid-section, butted down to 1.5mm, reduces weight while maintaining high strength, making it suitable for a wide range of wheel concepts. Weight: from 283g (64 spokes, 264mm).
Hookless
The hookless rim design provides a continuous rim profile without a hook. Combined with compatible tubeless tyres, this rim supports the use of modern tyres and tyre widths at low air pressures.
